Prototyping II

Week 2

Output Testing I

Following our Rhino and Grasshopper input where we played around with creating circle shapes. We analyzed how different inputs of a sensor can be represented.

At this point, we didn't know exactly which sensor we will use. But nonetheless, we wanted to start fabricating and decided to randomly create shapes in order to start the process. Our goal was to quickly produce a 3D-model to be able to discuss it.

As a result, we enhanced the details of each shape and decided to try fabricating with the laser cutter. As a result, we enhanced the details of each shape and decided to try fabricating with the laser cutter. This was a game-changer for our project because now we could talk about the different sections of our models and have a discussion about what the data represents in every slice of each model.
